Here is the Denver Nuggets Fan Spotlight- Kathy Mills Chang Interview with Nuggets.com:
How long have you been a Season Ticket Holder?
Since 2001 – this will be the 10th year.
Where are your seats located?
Lower Center Balcony – dead center court.
Why did you initially purchase your tickets?
I just love basketball, and went years without being near a basketball team. When we moved to Denver, our first priority was getting tickets again. I love getting the opportunity to watch the game.
What is your normal game-day routine? Any superstitions or habits special to Nuggets Games?
Every time I buy a jersey, the player gets traded. I’ve vowed not to buy any more jerseys. I don’t wear my jerseys because that player will get traded.
How big of a fan is your son Jared?
Jared is a huge Nuggets fan, and goes to many games with me. When we first got tickets, he was quite a bit younger, the rules weren’t quite as strict. He used to have his run of the Pepsi Center, knowing all the ushers and getting great seats, and high fiving the players as they left the floor. When we couldn’t find him we would see him on the Jumbotron!
Why would you recommend Nuggets season tickets to someone else?
There’s nothing like the excitement of a live game, when you are actually there and the energy of the crowd becomes a wave that the players can ride on. You can see a difference in their engagement when the crowd gets into it. That energy makes a difference. You become a part of the gang. I have very few things in my life that I give extra attention to because I am so busy. Everyone that knows me knows that I am a Nuggets fan, because that’s important to me.
What is your favorite part about Denver Nuggets basketball?
Being a mid-level market, it always feels like we’re the underdog a bit. I love that the Nuggets tend to always be the underdog, and I think the Nuggets are a lot better team than people give them credit for. When you’re the Lakers, the expectation is that you will win every single time so when you do win so many people go, "Oh look at that."
